A Naples Web Site matches anonymous job seekers with companies looking to hire — an attractive feature when you’re name isn’t as popular as it used to be.

QuietHire.com, a start-up company that began operating in March, launched its marketing campaign Thursday with some laughs at the expense of a George W. Bush look-alike.

“Who would want to hire him?” said President and Founder Dan Ressler before filming a series of quirky advertisements in which the fake Bush is posting his credentials onto the Web Site hoping to lure an employer.

It hopes the advertisements help the QuietHire.com — which Ressler said already has “thousands” of candidates — become a household name like Monster.com, another online job site.

QuietHire.com’s idea is simple: A user registers his or her information online. Corporations look for applicants with the skills they desire. They send an e-mail to the QuietHire.com, which sends an e-mail to the candidate.

The job candidate then decides whether to proceed with a formal application.
“We never ask you for your name, we don’t even know your name,” said QuietHire.com Co-founder David Chilcote.

It could be as described as the place to register for those people who are just kind of, sort of, happy at work.

“What we’re trying to capture are the people who are happily employed, not really looking, but would entertain another opportunity,” said David Chilcote.

It’s also a safe place to look for work, a site you know your boss can’t find you.

“We knew the job boards lacked something,” Ressler said. “They didn’t draw in the passive candidates who don’t typically post their credentials on line for fear of repercussion.”

Ressler said corporations looking for strong candidates will also benefit from it’s low annual cost of $20,000, which an employer could spend on a headhunter’s fees.
